Born and educated in the United Kingdom, my name is Julie Chapman. I have lived in several European countries, including Greece, where I co-owned an advertising agency and co-founded a chain of interior retail shops.

I returned to the UK in 2007 and was employed by Hill House Interiors. I helped them build their image and designed the interiors of many high-profile clients' houses.

In 2015, after 12 happy years, I moved on to form a partnership with a client heading a small team that undertook the complete renovation of a Grade II listed London townhouse, including the addition of a basement, the interior of a private villa in St Bart's and the interior of an apartment in the Odeon Tower in Monaco.

In 2018, this partnership was dissolved, and JC Interior Design was born. My current projects include a large private residence in St George's Hill Estate in Surrey, a family home on a gated private estate, a penthouse flat for a retired couple intending to downsize, and a young professional in her 20s buying her first 4-bed home..
